McCafe Concept Cafe at O’Hare

We have the opportunity to create a really unique special McCafe in the O’Hare Airport. Working alongside the Retail Design team of interior and industrial designers and architects, we came up with our modern take on flight. We wanted to create a cafe that was designed for our customers needs. We carved out kids areas, quite areas, and quick pit stops zones with environmental graphics that really helped to carve our each space.

Staying true to McCafe’s new modern look, I created a travel iconography look for the order and pick up area. In our largest zone, I created an extra long mural using paper planes as McDonald’s special take on air travel. To plus this up, we designed larger-than-life dimensional paper airplanes suspended from the ceiling.
